WHO IS THIS TRAINING FOR

This program is for anyone wishing to explore personal practices for healing and resiliency, and to practice within a community of care from your own home. All bodies, identities and levels of experience welcome.

This program is also an excellent experiential learning foundation for those wishing to train in an integrative approach to trauma-informed yoga, including yoga teachers, social workers, community workers and social justice advocates, mental health and health professionals.

This program can be taken stand-alone for personal or professional development, or as part of our 100hr Certification in Trauma-Informed Yoga & Embodied Social Change.

If you have already completed Yoga for Connection, Healing & Resilience and you would like to continue with the full 100hr Certification, please email info@yogaforhumankind.org to have your credit recognised.

ATTENDANCE & CERTIFICATION

Live participation is required:

Because we are passionate about engaged and collaborative learning, our online programs are live (not pre-recorded). This is to support your own learning, engagement and integration, and to build a strong community of practice.

This program is offered live via Zoom and sessions are not recorded to support confidentiality, commitment and participation. You will receive downloadable educational resources and recorded practices as part of the program for you to keep.

For those taking this program as part of our 100hr Certification, you are required to complete 80% live attendance for this module, and complete a final learning reflection for certification.

OUR FACILITATORS

This program will be led by an experienced Yoga for Humankind lead facilitator, with at least one support facilitator.

Our facilitators are trained yoga teachers with specialised training in trauma-informed facilitation and embodied social justice practice.

PRICING & ACCESS

We offer tiered pricing to support equitable access, participation and reciprocity.

Tiers 1 & 2 make it possible for us to offer scholarship places for those experiencing significant personal or community-based financial hardship. If you are well-resourced, we thank you for helping us to pay it forward and support equity in our broader community.

Limited allocations per tier are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please select your tier based on your genuine capacity to pay. **Please note: If places are full for your appropriate tier, please do not select a lower tier – it will take the place away from someone with a more limited capacity to pay.

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

We have found that the greatest engagement and benefit comes when there is a meaningful, mutual exchange. We also recognise that we live in systems of inequity. For these reasons, we offer tiered pricing and invite you to reflect on your personal and local financial circumstances: access to resources, what you can afford and would feel is a meaningful exchange, and what you might pay for comparable professional training programs.

TESTIMONIALS

This course has gently and tenderly unwound me, opened me up and transformed me. Not only am I walking away with practical skills to teach and facilitate within the community but I now possess the tools with which to support myself as well as others. The 4 modules have really challenged me and I'm so grateful for the container that Mei Lai and her team created and held for us.
